Legal Secretary/Legal Assistant The candidate will be managing new file creation. Conducting potential client organization and follow-ups. Assisting in maintaining attorney's personal and work calendar, as well as assisting in scheduling appointments and coordinating conference lines for multiple parties. Filing, scanning, offsite file indexing, client contact, and communications, drafting of less complex correspondence and estate planning documents (such as deeds), and providing back-up to the front desk reception as needed. Will work well under pressure and approaching deadlines. Should preferably have a High school or equivalent education. Must have 1+ years of experience in estate planning and/or probate and trust administration. Should have the knowledge and advanced navigational use of the word, excel, and outlook programs. Prior experience in the legal field (specifically, estate planning and/or estate and trust administration) and proficiency in Microsoft Word are required. Experience with Time Matters is a plus.
