Civil Litigation Paralegal The candidate will work in litigation defense group s practice focused on medical malpractice, product liability, and pharmaceutical litigation. Will be organizing exhibits, medical records and deposition transcripts in preparation for trial. Organizing document production. Attending and assisting attorneys at trial. Conducting investigative research and preparing investigative reports in preparation for trial. Gathering and analyzing research data, such as statutes, decisions, and legal articles, codes, and documents. Preparing and filing pleadings in federal and state court. Scheduling / coordinating depositions, witness interviews, meetings. Summarizing medical records. Researching and preparing non-party subpoenas. The candidate should have 3+ years of civil litigation experience. Must be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
