Spanish-Speaking Immigration Paralegal/Legal Assistant The candidate will be assigned principally to removal cases, family-based petitions, federal litigation cases, waiver cases, and some employment cases. will have 1-3 years of immigration experience. Duties include maintaining frequent communication with clients, preparing forms and drafting employer letters. Must efficiently and accurately complete cases under the supervision of supervising attorneys. Time management and organizational skills are essential to effectively handle the high-volume of cases that will be assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor degree required. 1-3 years of immigration law experience. Must be completely fluent in both Spanish and English. Experience submitting applications to and interacting with USCIS, the NVC and other government agencies in cases such as I-130, I-485, I-589, I-601A, I-751, I-765, 42B and N-400. Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills. Must be able to execute the entire application process with attorney support and work independently. Detail-oriented. Able to multi-task, learn quickly, and work with flexibility and ease under pressure. Outstanding organizational and time management skills required. Proficiency with general office equipment, Microsoft Word and Google Docs.
