Bilingual Immigration Paralegal The candidate will prepare family-based immigrant petitions and applications for adjustment of status and consular processing, including Forms I-485 and DS-260. File motions and evidentiary submissions in Immigration Court, including adjustment of status, cancellation of removal, venue changes, and motions to substitute. Prepare waiver applications (I-601A, I-601, I-212) for clients inside and outside of the U.S. Work closely with our clients to provide comprehensive immigration services. Compile and maintain records of immigration filings, other documentation and records of activity on behalf of clients. Review immigration regulations and be able to apply them to various case scenarios. Prepare forms and correspondence. Write detailed and complex supporting argumentation. Work closely with clients to gather and organize supporting documentation, and case administration. Prepare filings for relevant federal and state agencies. Conduct research on immigration law and procedures. Prepare draft correspondence and memoranda. Track the status of filings and inform the client and attorney of any follow up that may be necessary. Should have 1-2 years of immigration experience including at least 1 year processing waivers and filing motions in Immigration Court. Must be able to fluently speak Spanish. Bachelor's Degree in a field emphasizing writing or communication preferred. Must be highly detail-oriented and able to manage multiple high-volume priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong skills with MS Office and expertise with computer assisted legal resources required. Military experience a plus.
