Litigation Legal Secretary Duties: The candidate drafts, edits, and files client documents and related correspondence, memorandum, and related documents. Handles project management of attorney matters and cases. Enters, edits, and releases time for assigned timekeepers. Schedules depositions. Assists in trial preparations. Maintains files on a regular basis as required by Attorneys, Practice Group, and Firm procedures. Maintains and updates Attorneys calendar and contacts. Coordinates client conferences, luncheons, and in-house meetings. Assists in the management of client relationships by responding to inquiries and following up with clients, as directed. Assists with scheduling for group team members. Coordinates travel arrangements and process expense reports. Prepares Client/Matter Information Memorandum (CIM) conflicts check emails as well as CIM forms to be submitted to Records. Assists fellow workers and/or timekeepers, as needed and requested. Prepares court filings for attorneys/paralegals and submits electronically, as requested. Qualifications: The candidate should have a High School Diploma; a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university is preferred. Must have 3+ years of administrative experience; experience supporting a Litigation practice in a large law firm is preferred. Must possess excellent computer skills; familiarity with Aderant, Chrome River, InterAction, and MS Teams is a plus. Must be able to interact with personnel at all levels of the Firm with courtesy and respect, and represent the Firm well in all interactions. Must be able to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
