Title : Litigation Paralegal

Litigation Paralegal The candidate will collect, analyzes, organizes, and maintain factual information and documents, both electronically and in hard copies, in accordance with correct legal practice and procedure. Will be responsible for billable work from pre-suit to settlement. Should have 5 years of experience working as a litigation paralegal in a large law firm (from case development to initial pleadings through discovery, trial, and post-trial practice). Should be a member of appropriate professional organizations (Paralegal Association of Florida, Inc., National Association of Legal Assistants, and Legal Assistant Management Association). Should possess formal and extensive training as a paralegal, have extensive trial, mediation, and arbitration experience, thorough knowledge of state and federal court systems and procedures and laws relating to evidence and trial practice, shall be certified ( CLA ) as designated by the National Association of Legal Assistants. Must possess excellent communication, organizational, research and technical skills. Construction litigation experience is a plus.
