Paralegal The candidate will be responsible for assisting attorneys in the Commercial Affairs department, a fast-paced, high-volume, multi-faceted transactional and litigation group within the legal department of a major corporation. Will assist in all aspects of case management, including drafting applicable documents to assist with submission and tracking of the internal contract approval process. Must have successful track record of sound decision-making in the absence of detailed instructions. Bachelor's degree is essential. Paralegal/Legal Assistant Certificate from an ABA-approved organization is essential. Must have 3+ years of law firm experience or show other evidence of business acumen (e.g. owned and operated own business). Trial paralegal experience is a plus Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Power Point, Excel, Outlook, use of internet, and able to quickly learn and utilize other computer applications used by the Office of General Counsel is essential. Must be an experienced complex litigation/transactional paralegal who will be assigned to work full-time in the Office of the General Counsel.
