Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Attorney Duties: Management of a pre-litigation caseload of at least 200 cases. Conducting conferences with clients to explain retainer agreements and case handling procedures. Review intake files, insurance policies, and other related records and assess the viability of successful claims. Communicating with case managers with regard to the status of clients' cases. Attending recorded statements and independent medical examinations with clients. Researching legal issues and topics. Discussing case strategies with other attorneys and staff. Bi-weekly audit of cases and communicating with case manager for any issues and concerns. Negotiating and settling cases in the pre-litigation stage. Constant communications with the team. May need to attend trials and mediations, and prepare clients for depositions. Other attorney duties as detailed in the employment agreement. Qualifications: Must have 3+ years of experience handling personal injury and/or mass tort cases for a high-volume firm. Must be a current Nevada Bar Member in good standing (additional state licenses are a plus). Ability to manage a demanding caseload. Excellent negotiation skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Great problem-solver and proactive thinker. Insurance defense experience is a plus. Bilingual (Spanish or other) is definitely a plus. Proficient computer skills and basic understanding of certain productivity computer software (i.e., Microsoft 365, Google Workplace, Slack, Filevine, Hubstaff, etc.).
