Real Estate Legal Secretary The candidate should have meticulous attention to detail, strong technical and organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and possess a strong work ethic. Assist in initial creation and formatting of financing documents for large, commercial transactions and make subsequent revisions as needed. Keep detailed inventory of closing documents and review deliveries to flag open issues and alert attorneys to outstanding items. Compile final documents to prepare closing files for timely delivery to clients and other parties. Review, edit and finalize client bills and cover letters. Input and track disbursement and expense reimbursement requests utilizing Chrome River. Maintain calendar and appointments. Interact with clients and other parties via telephone and email in a professional manner. Should have Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years of prior work experience with editing, formatting and compiling financing documents for complex commercial transactions. Proficient in all basic, advanced and legal-specific Word and Windows 10 software as well as Outlook, Adobe Acrobat and Change-Pro. Familiarity with reviewing attorney time entries and other client charges in order to assist in preparing and finalizing invoices as well as processing disbursements and reimbursements. Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects under pressure with other team members and appropriately prioritize. Experience with Aderant and NetDocs preferred.
