Legal Secretary - Real Estate The candidate's duties include: Preparing documents for recording in the Land Records, sending payoff checks for mortgages, judgments and other liens, mailing out checks and letters for final payment of all invoices, submitting information to the release tracing company, following up on releases, sending the signed original documents to the lender, scanning the closed loan file into the file management system, ordering the title insurance policies from the title company, resolving any post-closing issues. Drafting legal documents, filing case documents in an organized manner, communicating with potential clients or other attorneys offices via email or phone; sending faxes and making copies of legal documents, answering phones. 1 years of experience required.
