Legal Secretary - Trust & Estate Litigation & Administration The candidate will join a team of attorneys and paralegals that handles all types of probate litigation including conservatorships, trust and will contests, financial elder abuse and the trust and estate administration that emerges from these complex legal challenges. Will work with attorneys and accounting paralegals in the administration of trusts and estates that involve the preparation of accountings, court filings and other tasks related to the administration of both small and large holdings. Preparation of pleadings and letters, accurately and with attention to detail. Finalizing letters, motions, judicial council forms, pleadings, discovery, motions, (Including proofreading for grammar and spelling). Finalize and assist with discovery and responses to discovery, creating shells, verifications, etc. Respond and prepare email in a professional manner. Assist with Trial Preparation, including Trial and Exhibit Binders. Copy, faxing and redacting documents. Calendaring: meetings, hearing dates and deadlines, including reminders. Calendaring and calculating discovery, pleadings and motion deadlines. Must be familiar with CRC and Local Rules as well as Efiling rules. Must be proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe. Should have Four-year college degree. Litigation law firm experience (2-4 years) required. Must have clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
