Legal Secretary Duties: Provides legal and administrative support in the areas of Family Law. Draft and revise legal documents, agreements, discovery, pleadings, and correspondence and proofread documents. Produce TOAs and TOCs accurately. File documents with state court by messenger or electronic filing. Manage attorneys Outlook calendars, schedule meetings, depositions, and conferences, as required. Enter attorney time, when requested. Maintain physical and electronic client files. Other administrative tasks, as assigned. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required. College completion a plus. Paralegal certificate a plus. 3+ years experience as a Legal Secretary. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook. Possess a strong background in litigation, including mastery of state court filings with solid e-filing experience. Prior experience with family law a plus. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently and complete assignments with minimal supervision, when needed. Must be detail-oriented. Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with attorneys, clients and peers. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain positive and productive relationships with attorneys, peers and vendors.
