Associate Attorney Duties: Representing companies and financial institutions in financing activities. Providing advice to clients on structured finance transactions. Advising clients on the acquisition or sale of portfolios of financial assets. Representing parties to secured and unsecured credit facilities. Understanding of commercial and securities law issues as they relate to finance transactions. Representing parties in financing transactions with a broad range of asset classes. The candidate with New York Bar Admission preferred; DC Bar Admission (or eligibility for admission by waiver) required. Must have 3+ years of experience in transactional work, corporate law or finance law at a large or mid-size law firm, in-house law department or governmental agency. Should also possess impressive academic credentials; the ability to simultaneously negotiate and efficiently handle multiple projects; strong interpersonal, analytical, oral communication and writing skills as well as superior negotiating skills; and an understanding of business, industry and market issues.
