Patent Attorney Candidates will practice primarily in mechanical and electro-mechanical devices. Will provide a range of intellectual property legal services including preparing, drafting, and prosecuting patent applications; counseling on intellectual property matters including patent clearance and infringement opinions; counseling on contract and technology transfer matters; and reviewing and negotiating patent licenses. Must demonstrate a clear ability to work in this technology field through their undergraduate degree and/or work experience. Must have 1+ years of experience in patent prosecution, are admitted to the Patent Bar and a State Bar, who possess an undergraduate degree in engineering with excellent academic qualifications and are able to move to, or are currently located in, Northwest Ohio/Southeast Michigan. Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills are needed. Should have strong project and client management skills. No book of business is required.
