Associate Attorney - Criminal Defense The candidate' must have 3 years experience in NC district court. We handle low level misdemeanors, Traffic and DWI's routinely in District court; and sex offenses to drug trafficking in Superior court. The successful candidate would join Velasquez Law's 3 criminal defense attorney. Duties would include daily appearance in District and Superior Court, preparation of cases for district court trials and review of discovery and preparation for Superior court trials. Spanish is not required but is a plus. Entry level Associate attorney positions are also available. Pay commensurate with experience. Practice areas include Immigration, Family Law, PI/WC, Criminal and traffic. Most clients speak Spanish.
