Litigation Paralegal The candidate duties and responsibilities include: Overall case file maintenance including requesting and maintaining records, indexing and filing case materials, follow up on outstanding matters. Prepare correspondence and legal documents including, but not limited to: Complaint, Answer, Notice, Motion, discovery requests/responses. Assist with all phases of discovery, including initial draft requests and responses. Assist with trial preparation including witness lists, exhibits, and trial binders. Daily interaction with clients, courts, and attorneys. Help maintain attorney s calendar, track deadlines, schedule appointments, and set up conference calls. Organize, analyze and route daily incoming/outgoing mail. General file maintenance in electronic case management system and paper file maintenance. Other duties as may arise from time to time and may be assigned to the employee. Must have related college, business and/or technical education. Should have 1-3 years litigation experience. Should have strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Pro, case management software and web-based programs are preferred. Excellent proofreading, organizational and follow-through skills are required.
