Research Attorney / Law Clerk The candidate will be responsible to support substantial immigration practice. Prior experience in various facets of immigration law is preferred, including family based immigration, specifically U visas, VAWA applications, DACA applications, residency matters, waivers, citizenship and appellate matters. Duties involve intensive research, analysis and drafting in a variety of immigration matters. Strong writing skills is required. Must be detail oriented. Ability to handle high volume caseload. Prior experience with immigration law or in a law firm is desirable. Bilingual in English and Spanish is required. Duties can expand depending on qualifications and abilities. J.D. and/or law degree is preferred. Have basic computer and internet skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Strong desire for someone with excellent communication skills, verbal and specifically writing skills. Be able to multitask and have good organizational skills. Have reliable transportation. Be trustworthy, dependable and punctual. Demonstrate professionalism and courtesy.
