Personal Injury Attorney The candidate will represent clients in court or before government agencies. Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients. Advise clients on business and legal transactions. Negotiate settlements for legal disputes. Comply with all legal standards and regulations. Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law. Request, organize and summarize medical records and bills. Conduct legal research - medical, scientific, technical, product information. Organize medical examinations. Liaise with and interview experts, medical personnel, law enforcement officers. Communicate with insurance carrier and opposing counsel. Previous experience in law (1+ years of experience required) required. Licensed in Maryland. Washington D.C., Virginia is a plus. Familiarity with various legal documents required. Prior District Court trial experience is a plus. Strong analytical and problem solving skills required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
