Title : Litigation Paralegal

Litigation Paralegal Duties: Drafting of pleadings, discovery, correspondence, and other litigation-related documents throughout all stages of state and federal court litigation (creditors rights/collections and/or subrogation litigation experience preferred). Legal research. Reviewing and summarizing documents exchanged throughout the course of discovery. Completing electronic filings as needed, consistent with processes and procedures for state and federal courts throughout the State of Ohio (other states a plus). Record hold and discovery records management. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Must have 2 years experience in a role as a litigation paralegal. Strong communication skills, both orally and written, with diverse audiences. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and function as a strong contributor to the team. Strong skills in Microsoft applications including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint, in addition to knowledge of current technologies and commitment to remain up to date with industry best practices. Legal research experience (Westlaw preferred). Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision. Adaptability, willingness to learn, and self-drive to meet deadlines and add value.
