Litigation Paralegal The candidate will work for a civil defense firm. Participate in the litigation strategy and workup of assigned cases. Prepare discovery requests and discovery responses. Assist with trial preparation and attend/assist attorneys at trial. Organize trial exhibits and summarize deposition transcripts. Gather and analyze research data. Research and prepare non-party subpoenas. Should preferably have an Associate degree. Should preferably have 3+ years of prior paralegal experience in product liability or insurance defense. Prior experience with Trial Director preferred. Prior experience with Worldox preferred. Bachelor's degree or paralegal certification preferred. Must be self-motivated, punctual and detail-oriented, and will have excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills (verbal and written). Must have the ability to organize and prioritize work autonomously. Should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Excellent interpersonal skills and team player mentality required. Should be proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Note: Urgently hiring.
