Workers' Compensation Paralegal The candidate will handle heavy volume client communication; periodic file reviews; hear preparation; follow-up on carrier payments; evaluation of case status; follow-up on medical requests with doctor s offices; coordinate medical care and determine status of client treatment; file fee applications; contact with claim s adjusters; draft correspondence to all appropriate parties; and explain detailed legal issues to clients. Should have knowledge of Workers Compensation law. Prior experience as a Workers Compensation paralegal is a must. Fluency in Spanish is preferred. Should have the ability to handle heavy call volume with outstanding customer service skills. Should have the ability to set priorities and successfully manage any changes in priority is required. Contact and communication. Work on the phone. Should have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a variety of individuals. Should have strong customer service skills and excellent telephone manners. Should have supreme organizational skills. Should have the ability to work independently and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced work environment.
