Legal Secretary The candidate will be calendaring state and federal court deadlines. Will be drafting and sending out notices and other pleadings; Drafting basic form letters to clients and opposing counsel; Editing and finalizing litigation documents; General administrative duties, such as answering phones, coordinating with clients and opposing counsel, and managing attorney s schedule. Should be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Adobe Pro. Should have High School and College Graduate. Should be able to learn new software programs and navigate the Internet quickly; Knowledge of state and federal court filing requirements (including e-filing); Familiarity with calendaring (i.e. court rules, dates, procedures); Strong verbal and communication skills, must be comfortable and confident on the phone. Should have articulate, detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills.
