Senior Paralegal The candidate will work under attorney supervision and is responsible for the quality of the team s work and ensuring deadlines are met. Will perform intake of cases, troubleshooting and establishing case strategy. Draft and file Petitions/Applications. Communicate regularly with clients regarding procedural and case processing issues, Assist with review of cases. Review and approve client billing under supervision of partner or attorney. Prioritize and assign cases, monitor workload and production. Oversee status of cases through utilization of case management and billing systems. Run reports as needed. Assist in the hiring and training of new team members. Identify ways to improve team productivity and office-wide projects.
The candidate should have BS or BA Degree. Must have 5-10 years of experience in a senior level capacity with a law firm, corporate legal department, or corporate immigration function. Must possesses strong knowledge of procedural requirements for various types of nonimmigrant and immigrant visas and client processes. Experience drafting RFEs and PERM Audit responses, and drafting and filing large volumes of immigrant and non-immigrant petitions, including Outstanding Researcher and PERM is required.
