Associate Attorney/Lawyer Responsibilities: General litigation work. Discovery. Drafting pleadings and motions. Managing all phases of representation of the client. Client meetings, communications, and interviewing prospective clients. Qualifications: The candidate must have an active bar license and be in good standing with the Virginia State Bar. Must have 1+ year of experience practicing law. Be self-motivated and highly organized. Have superior time management skills. Have experience in family law and criminal law. Excel in legal research, legal writing, and litigation. Have an aptitude for persistently advocating for and empowering clients. Possess experience with bench trials. Conduct themselves with the highest ethical standards. Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is not required but is a plus.
