Litigation Legal Secretary The candidate will be preparing legal documents and correspondence, service and filing of pleadings and testimony with courts and administrative agencies (e-filing), maintaining client files and litigation calendars, coordinating client meetings, and other similar legal and litigation support functions. Assist attorneys and paralegals in the performance of complex secretarial and clerical duties requiring knowledge of legal terminology and the legal process. Handle confidential client and Firm data in an ethical manner. The candidate should preferably have an Associate's degree with 3-5 years of relevance and 3 years of Microsoft Office experience. Must have proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with i-Manage / Interwoven, time entry, and e-filing is a plus. Prefer a legal secretary degree or certification; an undergraduate degree is helpful. Prior law firm experience is required. Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and results-driven. Excellent organization, time management, and multi-tasking skills are required in a deadline drive environment. Must be a team player, show initiative, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, and be able to interact professionally with all levels of the Firm and outside clients.
