Legal Secretary Duties: Review of incoming correspondence and pleadings; docketing of related deadlines, distribution of same to counsel and client(s) as necessary. Drafting and finalizing of pleadings and correspondence and electronic filing of pleadings in the appropriate court system. Monitoring of case deadlines to ensure compliance. Assisting with coordination, organization and verification of documentation received from third parties. Assist with entering time into billing program. Qualifications: Must have 3+ years of relevant legal experience in a law firm setting. Knowledge of Local and Federal Court Rules. Experience with efiling, eservice and rules regarding same. Proficient in Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat. Experience with electronic document management A A Worldox preferred. Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
