Legal Secretary - Corporate The candidate will be providing assistance to attorneys, paralegals, and other administrative personnel; typing and editing documents including correspondence, memoranda, bills, time sheets and project work from handwritten or typed materials; proofreading work; receiving, screening and transmitting telephone calls, conference calls and messages to/from attorneys and clients; processing incoming/outgoing mail; preparing and processing new client/matter reports, time sheets, and expense reports; scheduling and coordinating conferences, meetings, and appointments; coordinating travel arrangements including securing air and ground transportation and hotel accommodations; managing work flow; maintaining filing; providing assistance to visitors, summer associates, and attorneys whose secretaries are absent; and accepting overflow work from other secretaries. The candidate should have High school diploma or equivalent degree. Should have specialized secretarial degree, associate, and/or Bachelor's degree desirable. Should have 4-10 years recent corporate legal secretary experience is preferred. Should have experience with commercial real estate finance is preferred. Should have strong calendaring and proof reading skills. Should have strong communication and organizational skills. Should have ability to meet deadlines and respond to changing priorities.
