Legal Secretary/Administrative Assistant The candidate will draft/edit/finalize and file/serve court documents and related correspondence, memorandum, pleadings; E-file and paper file documents with state, federal, and appellate courts; and with state and federal administrative agencies (PERB,NLRB, EEOC, DFEH); Handle incoming and outgoing mail for attorneys supported; Schedule meetings, conference calls, assist with travel arrangements, reserve conference rooms; Communicate by phone and email with clients, maintaining high degree of confidentiality and professionalism at all times; Schedule depositions and arbitration; Assist with document production; Assist with trial preparation; Maintain files (both hard copy and in the cloud); Answer phones in professional manner; Manage periodic events for clients (e.g., legal update presentations); Assist other staff members when requested and needed. The candidate must have 5+ years experience as legal secretary or admin assistant in a law firm, law office, or similar legal setting; Must have experience e-filing with state and federal courts; Must have strong proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications -- Outlook, Word, Power Point, Excel; Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; Must have record of dependability/reliability.
