Insurance Practice Attorney The candidate must have at least 1year of litigation experience preferred. Insurance experience preferred, but not required (group will happily train new hire on insurance subject matter). Day-to-day work will include supporting the Insurance Group's strategic counselling and litigation services: Analysing litigation filings and developments; Drafting updates and summaries of key litigation filings and developments; Reviewing defence invoices for overall reasonableness and deductions according to insurance company litigation management guidelines; Preparing spreadsheets with defence payment recommendations; Drafting routine coverage correspondence; Researching insurance coverage-related issues. Opportunity to gain significant exposure to a range of insurance coverage matters and work with nationally recognized practice group leadership. Should possess excellent writing and research skills, high attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure with multiple deadlines. Must have excellent academic credentials and references. Non-partner track position with an 1,800 billable requirement.
