Associate Attorney Litigation The candidate will prepare and handle pleadings, discovery and motions. Perform legal research. Attend depositions of parties, witnesses and medical providers. Prepare and draft pleadings, briefs and case assessments. Review, assess and handle matters from inception to trial are required. Ability to work proactively, independently and demonstrate strong analytical, writing, research and communication skills and an eagerness to learn. To successfully perform this job an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. A 1st to 3rd year licensed attorney are required. Required experience includes personal injury or products defense litigation and / or insurance coverage. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple case files successfully in a busy environment. Computer proficiency specific to MS Office including Excel, Outlook; skilled in Internet navigation;. Prior knowledge of PCLaw timekeeping and / or iManage would be big a big plus. Must be licensed to practice law in the state of Florida are required.
