Practice Administrative Assistant (Legal Secretary) Responsibilities: Filing of case documents, retrieving case files, and preparing files for closing in accordance with Records Department procedures. Organizing project and file rooms and coordinating movement of boxed records within facility or to off-site facility. Arranging telephonic CourtCall appearances as directed. Making copies of documents for service; preparing envelopes and/or labels for said service. Opening, prioritizing, and distributing mail. Preparing material for overnight/mail service, deliveries, and courthouse filings where appropriate. Arranging for payment of case related invoices and attorney expense reports via Chrome River. Making travel arrangements as required. Search and review Worksite electronic files for specific requests; circulate to appropriate parties per instructions. Qualifications: Requires high school diploma or GED and 2+ years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to work independently and, at times, with little direction. Excellent communication skills. Planning and organizational skills. Ability to work overtime as needed. Ability to edit for typos/grammar. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office 2013 and/or current version and in the creation, assembly and/or manipulation of PDF files using Adobe Acrobat.
