Title : Litigation Paralegal

Litigation Paralegal The candidate handle veteran's disability claims, employment and school discrimination cases, and sex abuse cases. Will be able to provide assistance during all phases of the litigation or claim process, including conducting interviews, researching and summarizing files, document filing and attending trials. Answer telephone and conduct initial interviews of clients. Legal research and case assessments. Interview potential clients and witnesses. Draft pleadings, motions and appellate documents and electronically file them in court. Perform administrative duties (calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, manage logistics, etc.). Maintain pleadings and discovery files. Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs and appendices. Aid attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requests. Gather relevant information from a variety of sources. Help with jury selection and witness preparation at trial. Provide assistance with case settlements. Requirements: Paralegal Associate's Degree or other relevant experience preferred. 1 year of Paralegal experience required. Highly organized with ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong writing and communication skills, along with attention to detail. Self-starter; ability to work with little supervision.
