Legal Secretary Litigation The candidate will support attorneys in the Litigation practice group. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Preparing attorney correspondence, and other documents, Managing and opening new client matters in an effective and efficient manner, Managing attorney calendars and schedules. Entering and revising attorneys' time in time entry system (Intapp). Formatting/revising briefs, pleadings and other legal documents, Assisting with manual and electronic court filings. Meeting and planning activities including travel arrangements. Flexibility to respond quickly to shifting demands and ability to work under tight deadlines, Must be able to deliver high-quality work product and work independently in fast-paced environment. Other duties as assigned., Should have Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required. Should have 5-7 years of secretarial experience in a legal or professional services environment. Should be knowledgeable with all aspects of litigation process, including familiar with court procedures. Should have advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat. Must demonstrate ability to multi-task and prioritize work assignments, ability to build collaborative relationships with other functional areas within the Firm to meet deadlines and solve issues, professionalism with internal and external clients, and ability to anticipate and act as a member of the team by assisting when and where needed. Should have knowledge of filing and service in federal court, state court, and/or administrative offices in accordance with applicable rules. Notary preferred.
