Legal Secretary Legal Assistant - Litigation RESPONSIBILITIES: Full charge desk coverage for all legal secretary/assistant desks, with some administrative tasks. Formatting pleadings, correspondence and other legal documents. Filing of legal documents with state and federal courts - efiling proficiency. Proofreading of documents. Updating and maintaining client files. Docketing. Qualifications: 5 years' Oregon litigation experience. Solid knowledge and current experience with State and Federal Court electronic filing systems. Consistent and Punctual Attendance. Flexibility and willingness to pitch in where needed. Contributes to an atmosphere of teamwork and congeniality. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Washington litigation experience preferred. Advanced knowledge and experience in Outlook, Word, Excel. Experience with PDF software. Working knowledge of Document Management Systems.
