Litigation Attorney The candidate's responsibilities include: Managing the litigation of a case from start to finish; Drafting pleadings and discovery; Conducting depositions and mediations; Preparing witnesses for depositions and/or trials; Reviewing medical records and discovery; Researching and briefing the law; Investigating facts and technical issues relating to cases; Appearing in court, at hearings and trials; Meetings with clients; Explain and execute Attorney-Client contracts; Communicating with lawyers and staff within the firm; Communicating with lawyers and staff of opposing counsel; Other duties as may be determined by your supervising attorney. JD degree from accredited law school required. License to practice law in Texas required. Competency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and ability to learn new software required. Texas Bar license required. The candidate should have 3+ years of litigation experience, and not afraid of the courtroom. 1st (or at least 2nd) chair trial experience required.
