Senior Tax Attorney The candidate should have earned LL.M. degree in Tax to join the firms established Domestic and International Tax Departments in providing the firm's domestic and international tax and business clients representation in civil and to a lesser extent (occasional) criminal tax controversies and provide tax planning and compliance and accounting services. Must have a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration Majoring in Accounting (completed or in process). Working knowledge of QuickBooks, Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Bilingual is a plus. Advanced education in Taxation is a plus. A desire to go (or currently attending) law school is a plus. Must have 2 years of sophisticated individual, partnership and corporate tax (C and S) preparation experience with a public accounting firm or comparable organization. Experience with trust and estate tax preparation is a plus. Experience with representation in sophisticated federal and state tax controversies preferred. Collection representation experience is a plus. International tax experience is a plus.
