Corporate Legal Secretary The candidate will be responsible: for preparing, revising and redlining documents; creating, copying and mailing correspondence to clients and government agencies; organizing and mailing closing binders; preparing and filing pleadings in Federal Court and in arbitration/mediations; preparing and assisting in commercial, financing, merger and acquisition closings; calendaring; entering time; processing expense reimbursements; maintaining tickler systems and other duties as needed. Must have 2 - 5 years' experience in a law firm, excellent organizational skills and the ability to balance competing priorities. Superior communication and interpersonal skills are also a must, as are the ability to work independently and take initiative. Must have proficient knowledge of Outlook and Word. Knowledge of FileSite (dms) and CMS (time entry and expense reimbursement) are a plus. High School diploma required, Bachelor s degree preferred.
