Paralegal Clerk Duties: Process both firm operational expenses and client billable disbursements. Daily process review of vendor invoices and financial reporting. Assist with billing, and electronic billing appeals. Create budgets, monitor and resolve outstanding, and vendor invoice / payment issues, process cost entries. Coordinate domestic aged invoices with Accounting. Assist in end-of-day reporting. Draft page/line deposition summaries. Prepare subpoenas, and summarize complaint allegations. Conduct general online research using Lexis/Westlaw. Review and summarize insurance policies. Prepare appendices and form correspondence. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred. 2+ years' experience preferred with a law firm. Experience with entry-level bookkeeping. Ability to process basic time sensitive entries. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. Ability to work independently and follow through on tasks in a timely manner. Outstanding attention to detail. Excellent written, oral, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to interact with all levels of firm employees. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
