Litigation Associate Attorney Duties: Draft correspondence to clients, opposing counsel, and third parties; Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and responses thereto; Client communication; Ability to work with peers and the principal in a collaborative team environment; Attend routine court hearings; Argue in support of and against motions in state and federal court; Take and defend depositions; Learn new areas of the law; Complete CLE requirements and present what has been learned to the team; Develop strategy and offer insight into situations; and, General business and professional development. Will be expected to participate in bar organizations, committees that interest them, attend CLE events that will bring benefits to them and the firm, propose conferences to which they would like to attend, and related matters. Will involve exposure and work in both state and federal courts. Will also involve exposure to transactional work and intellectual property matters. Will be a focus, will need to work on other assignments outside of litigation. Qualifications: Litigation experience. Law Review experience preferred. Will develop them into exceptional, ethical, and professional attorneys. Must have exceptional research and writing skills. Should also be open to positive criticism and editorial comments. We work to produce the best quality possible. Must have exceptional communication and writing skills. Must be able to understand novel concepts and think outside the box. A?
