Legal Secretary The candidate will be responsible for legal secretarial and administrative tasks including, document creation, editing and preparation, filing, time entry, expense reimbursement processing, client bills, telephone calls, travel arrangements, calendar maintenance and mailing distributions. Handle confidential information as necessary. Maintain lawyers' contacts lists in Outlook and Interaction. Client contact in person and over the phone. These duties may be ongoing or ad hoc in nature. Other duties may be assigned to fully meet the requirements of the position. The candidate must have 5+ years of recent legal secretarial experience in a mid-to large-size firm. College degree is a plus. Should have exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize, work independently and multitask. Should have ability to work in a high-volume environment. Must have strong interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills. Should have advanced knowledge of MS Word and Outlook, must exhibit strong typing skills and ability to learn and quickly become proficient in new computer software programs. Must have knowledge of Excel, and PowerPoint. Should have ability to prioritize and handle ever-changing priorities. Should have ability to work with minimal supervision, be a team player and be committed to providing a high level of client service.
