Associate Attorney The candidate will primarily work with the firms securities practice group to develop and prosecute securities class action cases, derivative actions, and opt-out litigation. Responsibilities include: Conducting in-depth factual and legal research to assess the merits of potential and newly filed securities class actions. Working alongside the firms partners to develop litigation recommendations for the firms institutional investor clients. Assisting in the prosecution of securities cases from inception through trial by drafting pleadings, responding to dispositive motions, and managing affirmative and responsive discovery. Requirements: J.D. with 1-3 years of experience (securities class action and/or complex litigation experience preferred). Excellent writing and legal research skills required. Genuine interest in the financial markets and the firms core practice areas. Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
