Attorney, Litigation The candidate will be communicating with insurance companies and medical providers to obtain records and update information on cases. Interviewing clients to understand their case s details, identifying issues, and determining a strategy for settlement or trial. Drafting legal documents such as complaints, motions, briefs, and settlement offers. Negotiating settlements with the other party s attorney on behalf of clients. Preparing cases for trial by interviewing witnesses, acquiring evidence such as medical records, and conducting investigations. Helping clients prepare for mediation sessions or settlement conferences with opposing counsel. Educating clients about their legal rights and responsibilities throughout the process. Preparing and filing court documents such as complaints or motions. Representing clients in court proceedings such as trials or hearings regarding personal injury cases. JD degree is required. Proven working experience in litigation is required. Should have 0-3 years of Personal Injury experience. Previous experience with legal programs or salesforce is a plus. Texas and/ or New Mexico Bar License is required. Bilingual is a plus.
