Litigation Paralegal Duties: Communicating and corresponding with clients, providers and others in the legal community. Maintaining client files. Calculate and manage deadlines. Review , analyze and summarize case files. Review, draft and file legal documents such as discovery responses, motions and other pleadings for attorneys. Assisting attorneys with preparation of cases for trial. Attending trial with attorneys and assisting throughout trial. Other duties as assigned. Requirements: High School Diploma and/or GED Required. Completion of an Accredited Paralegal program and/or certificate preferred. Associate s Degree or comparable work experience. 2+ years as a litigation paralegal (experience with personal injury/medical malpractice). Ability to proficiently prioritize a heavy work load. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Understand legal terminology and procedures. Critical thinking skills with great attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently as well as a team player. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience with Needles Case Management software is a plus. Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
