Paralegal/Legal Assistant The candidate will be responsible for: Efficiently manage court filings proficiently. Create, edit, proof and finalize documents accurately and timely. E-filing in various county courts. Generate certificates of service. Calendar/docket key dates for a variety of deadlines. Coordinate workflow with managing attorneys. Assist in preparing for meetings, hearings and presentations. Support lawyers with organization of case and office materials. Work collaboratively; coordinate with front desk. A certificate from an ABA-approved Paralegal training program is preferred. A Paralegal certificate shows a commitment to the profession but does not take the place of case clerk/paralegal work experience. Should have 2-10 years increasingly responsible legal secretarial/paralegal experience and stable work history. Should have solid knowledge of court filing processes and procedures. Must have strong legal, technical and administrative skills. Should have proficiency using using Word, Excel & PowerPoint. Must be familiar with document management systems
