This mid-size firm has a nationally recognized law practice specializing in the areas of Estate Planning, Charitable and Non-Profit Organization Planning, Probate and Trust Administration, Real Estate, Business Transactions and Tax Planning, and Commercial and Real Estate Litigation. It enjoys a national reputation for its expertise in estate and gift planning. The firm also engages in a broad real estate practice with clients from high-volume retailers to regional mall developers. Client contact is frequent and early, and salary is what you would expect at similar firms. The minimum billable hour requirements are average, but the environment of the firm is very conducive to either long hours or normal workdays.
Litigation Attorney Responsibilities: Represent clients in legal proceedings, draw up legal documents and advise clients on legal transactions. Represent clients in court or before government agencies. Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients. Advise clients on business and legal transactions. Negotiate settlements for legal disputes. Comply with all legal standards and regulations. Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law.
Qualifications: Previous experience in law. Familiarity with various legal documents. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to build rapport with clients. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
