Workers Compensation Paralegal The candidate will serve in the preparation of pleadings including motions, subpoenas, notices, hearings, and requests for production. Will serve in coordination/scheduling of meetings, hearings, appointments, and depositions. Other required duties include managing deadlines, preparing attorneys for appointments, drafting demand letters, composing and typing routine correspondence, reading and routing of incoming mail, taking calls from clients, attorneys, adjusters, J.A.'s, opposing counsel, etc. The candidate should have High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 3+ years of workers compensation experience. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to type 50- 60 wpm. Should have working knowledge of Client Profiles/Aderant or a similar case management system. Excellent secretarial and clerical skills (telephone, typing and computer) required. Bi-lingual (Spanish) is preferred.
