Immigration Paralegal Duties: Work under the direction of an attorney, assisting clients from all walks of life in many different forms of immigration relief and benefits. Direct client contact, preparing and filing non-immigrant visa petitions and green card applications. Working in an adept and team-oriented environment, perform challenging and substantive legal work. Qualifications: A competent, bilingual (English/Spanish) Immigration Paralegal. 3 years' experience with Family Petitions, Deportation Defense, Waiver preparation, self-petition Visa's, Employment Visa's, Immigrant and Non-immigrant Consular Processing, I-140, Naturalization's, I-485, PERM labor certifications, handling immigration office administrative process. Able to execute the entire application process as well as respond to RFEs. Requires consistent communication with clients and the monitoring of caseloads and expiration dates from inception to completion. Should also be able to manage our internal company immigration database. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and must be proactive and detail-oriented. Computer proficient. Must be a team player, problem solver, self-motivated, able to accomplish tasks in an expedient manner, detail oriented, and have the ability to understand and resolve visa-related issues under attorney supervision; must be resourceful, creative, and have initiative.
