The San Francisco office of this mid-size firm is engaged primarily in litigation and general business, although the firm boasts a solid regulatory and administrative law practice and a respectable labor/employment practice. The firm has a strong pro bono commitment; associates receive full billable hour credit for approved pro bono work and, overall, pro bono comprises 3-5% of all work. The billable hour target is 1850 and salaries are approximately 20% below market.
Affordable Housing & Real Estate Dept. Attorney The candidate will work in affordable Housing practice are among the nation's foremost legal authorities in economic and community development, historic rehabilitation and affordable housing. 1-3 years of experience working on sophisticated commercial real estate transactions. Must have experience representing developers and investors with respect to multifamily and commercial properties as well as a strong interest in housing and community development. Knowledge of federal, state and New York City affordable housing and community development programs and regulations is a plus.
