Legal Secretary Duties: For Defense Workers' Compensation, perform secretarial and administrative duties for an attorneys. Responsibilities will include typing and proofreading letters, pleadings and reports, answering phones, copying, scanning and filing. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Reports to managing partner and office administrator. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of experience in the field or in related area. Knowledge of MS Outlook, Word and Excel. Must have excellent communications skills, great client service skills and have the ability to multi-task. Must be a pro-active, confident person with excellent administrative and organizational skills, meticulous in attention to detail with a 'can-do' attitude, have good time management skills and be flexible in a fast paced and changing environment.
