Litigation Attorney The candidate will work hard to represent the clients well. Will work seamlessly with both senior partners as well as administrative staff in an effort to effectively serve the clients. Determine case strategies and solutions to serve clients needs after analysis. Advise clients by weighing available options toward a successful outcome and plan a course of action. Supervise administrative staff, paralegals, and law clerks. Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings. Perform research, draft briefs, pleadings, and motions. Work independently on appropriate legal documents and research necessary for the particular case, such as for briefs, motions, and pleadings, as well as correspondence. Defend depositions. Participate and contribute to team strategies. The candidate must have graduated from law school with Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree and experience in representing clients for 2+ years. Should have 1-2 years of experience working in a law firm environment. Experience with Clio case management software is preferable. Strong knowledge of legal research programs such as Westlaw and Lexis products is required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is necessary. Communication, problem-solving, decision-making, interpersonal, and public speaking skills are required. Must be able to work independently while handling multiple files. Must have excellent research and writing skills, work well in a team setting, and communicate effectively across all levels.
